Oh Amy! My heart continues to ache from missing you...

Yet, I am able to rejoice that you are home and it wont be long until I see you again. Where we'll worship the Father together!

I thank God everyday for the example and gift you were to me and so many others. You were a shining light of God's love to everyone that you met. You loved Jesus, and pursued him wholeheartedly.

You weren't some boring religious person.
You were a beautiful girl with an unending and beautiful love for her Savior.
I want to be like you when I grow up.

The 19 years you had on this earth were so short. I will miss you so much!
I will miss talking to you at church. And you asking me how my walk with the Lord is going. I will miss your love for everyone you met. You were friends with so many people! And you treated them with amazing care and love. You reached out to the friendless. And encouraged the heartbroken. I will always remember you. I will remember teaching "Great Expectations" with you in British Lit. And taking silly pictures on my computer while we were getting ready for it. And I will remember you encouraging me after Public Speaking class- even if I did terrible. I will remember your love for the Savior. And the way you talked about Him constantly. The way you lived your life for Him. And for the great things to come.

You are now in the place that you were longing for.

Your love for Heaven has inspired me to learn as much about it and live my life with eternity in perspective. You lived your life that way. Constantly getting ready for our Home. And the King's city.

Praise Jesus for the gift and promise of Heaven! The fact that we will see Him face to face!
And when our loved ones go home, we can know that the goodbye wont last forever! "And when we reach the city, we'll understand the journey to the land we were made for, the city of our King and we'll be HOME."

I miss you Amy... see you soon. <3

Friends in the Fall {Friends Photography}

Do you know what I love? Well... I love a lot of things, but one of the things I love is annual photo shoots with amazing friends. :)
(sorry the pictures from last year are so small...)

Last year I had a photoshoot with Kylie, Kirstin, Jayme and David.

This year, we had a photoshoot again. Except, Kevin and Elizabeth came this year, since they weren't able to last year... and Katie came... 'cuz she's just that awesome.

We set out, walking around Damascus, on a rainy day, hanging out and taking pictures.

Mm... Kylie is a pretty lady :)

We went over to the Music Cafe, where the people who were smart enough to bring money, got some drinks...

And, oh my goodness, I think Jayme and Kirstin are the cutest siblings :)

Oh! Speaking of siblings, there were three pairs of them that day, it made me quite happy.. I love siblings =D

Then, I let Kylie join in =)

They're a big happy family...haha =)

What photoshoot would be complete without some jumping pictures?

When the sun went down, and the cameras stopped clicking, we all hung out at Kylie's house, talking, watching TV, and just being crazy teenagers =) These people are so fun, and I had a blast with y'all! Thanks for being incredible friends! =)
